In the Letter from Birmingham Jail that was written by Martin Luther King Jr. He is defending himself against eight clergymen accusations to which he explains the reasons for the civil rights demonstration and tries to justify the need for nonviolent protest in the Civil Rights Movement. The way he uses pathos in his letter is showing how King really feels about the movement and how much they need to rebel.
